Model making...

Time for some model making - Yipee! Indeed, so here is a birds-eye view of what I've got so far. Working with the interlocking units, I have tried to create a variety of spaces. From this 'plan' view you can see they're various sizes, with the central rectangular hallway/tower, connecting all the exterior rooms.

A couple of side shots - what would be an elevation from the left of the above image [plan], and then from the top side of the above image. I've tried to created this interlocking connectivity in both plan and elevation, with a variety of heights, widths etc. to various units.

I've been thinking about the idea of rooms within rooms... Creating these static spaces that seem to be hovering within a void [still got to work out accessways though - stairs, lifts etc].
